I have been slowly going through all of the photo's taken during my shoots in New York city last year, and finally decided to try and put out a few fully finished pieces. Aside from simply posting photo's as is, this will be my first attempt at really trying to start a photographic portfolio of sorts.
This series I'm beginning deals mainly with three components; city-life (my dream), day and night-life (two totally opposite, yet equally beautiful palette's), and a feature model. I've started with pulling from some of Anton's shoots. Anton is a Boss model, and slowly but surely building up his career. That is one of the reasons i really enjoyed working with him during those shoots, as he has a driven attitude, and an obvious desire to succeed in life. That is also something i want to keep in my work; not only my own concepts, but the driven passions of others involved as well, as i believe it all shows through in the end.
Anyway, i hope you enjoy this, and those after. And don't forget to give props and publicity to Anton (Anttek). taka taka taka!
lol, I don't even remember this shot, maybe because you somehow reconstructed it into a whole 'nother piece, but it looks great and blue are my favorite shades. me likey, thank you Sean!
I'm glad to see more of your work. Anton is such a wonderful model. I've enjoyed every image of him that you have posted. Your photography, in general, seems to avoid a lot of cliche' posing. I always get a sense that you've allowed me and others to tag along on a journey. Thanks for inviting us along.
i like the pose - very natural like you caught him on the fly, i like the overall blue tone and lighting too...
but what bugs me is the yellow typo in the corner... >_<
imho it just doesnt fit in too well with the rest of the photo. maybe you could use one of the blue tones found somewhere else in the photo using the colour dropper. or that glowing white maybe?
your a bit lucky having a Boss model around handy arent you?
Thanks for your input. I'll definatly take that into consideration if i do an update in the series, or directly on this piece.
Also, i didn't quite understand what you meant by typo, other than if your referring to the lower/upper case difference.
Thanks tho!
